  • Katy Texas Depot<br /> This is the Katy Railroad Park & Museum in Katy, TX and is the original depot for the MKT Railroad. Katy is named for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) Railroad Company, commonly referred to as the "K-T Railroad" (now a part of Union Pacific) that ran through Katy in the 19th century. Some also state that Katy stands for Kansas, Arkansas, Texas Yard.
